    hyphened domains

What is the major advantage of using hyphenated domains? People who do seo use them quite frequently. Is there any special sense in hyphen?

I'm actually all against hyphens. They're not quite easy to remember (for people). Not sure how they involve SEO though.

People tend to believe hyphens separate words in domain (at least that search engines see it that way), but I don't think. Check google results

Is it good to use hyphen in three word domain like get-for-free instead of getforfree? it makes domain longer I'd say without is better

IDK, maybe because someone took the domain name that they wanted, so they used a hyphen then they tried to use SEO.

No. Strongly, no. It totally changes the value of the domain, especially when someone owns the none-hyphened words in a domain.

I do not like seeing hyphens in domain names. It's OK if it's an easy to remember name, but having hyphens in the name when it's like 15 characters long is unacceptable. How would anyone be able to remember where to put it, unless it was a 2 worded domain name of course.
