Thread: Programs you used to do coding?

So what are the programs you used to do coding?

I normally used normal notepad and Dreamweaver CS5. If Dreamweaver is not working for me then i will use notepad to work on my codes.

I use Notepad++ or NoteTab.
I start in a normal text editor then followed by Dreamweaver for finalization.

I used to always use DreamWeaver. It started getting very expensive when the time for renewing the license came around so I started browsing for other software and came across a great programme. It's called phpDesigner, it's much cheaper than DreamWeaver but has all the functionality DreamWeaver and has everything I need.

I personally dislike dreamweaver a lot it tends to make beginners make bad decisions and do things that violate the best practices i.e. using inline css and tags such as <center> but to the question i almost swear by netbeans it has everything i need, i've used about every other editor on the market and i keep falling back to this one so it must be pretty good as anal as i am about my ide

I use KomodEdit. Simple and easy to work with.
