When you're coding a new website, do you care about the people that use IE (either 6, 7, 8 or 9)? Do you take the time to make it compatible or do you just ask them to download a different browser that does support your site?

personally i don't care about ie6 users. its less than 1% of all internet users as of now.
Not sure about ie6, but overall support will end soon imo.
And yes, I try to code cross-browser and valid sites...
This question is horrifying. It's not that you care or not. As a decent programmer, you should definitely care. Unfortunately, IE 6 isn't compatible. But other than that, I usually make sure that it is compatible. As for IE 6 and 800 x 600 resolutions, there's not much to be done.
